Bekabeling
Ethernet
Enkel van toepassing op PM5320, PM5340, en PM5341. Voor correcte ethernetbekabeling: Volg de richtlijnen voor ethernetbekabeling.
RS485
De RS485-terminals bevinden zich aan de onderkant van het apparaat (connector 6 in het diagram hieronder).
RS485 Wiring
- For correct RS485 wiring: Follow the guidelines for RS485 wiring.
- If the wiring shown in the table below is incorrect, please let us know.
- There is no general consensus in the industry about the usage of A and B for the RS485 polarity, so it may be counterintuitive and opposite of what you might expect for some devices.

Note
Afscherming: De afschermdraad moet worden aangesloten op Terminal 24 (SHLD). Let op dat de aardterminal niet beschikbaar is op de meter zelf; de afscherming moet aan de andere kant van de bus op aarde worden aangesloten[cite: 246, 1627].
Configuratie
Ethernet
Enkel van toepassing op PM5320, PM5340, en PM5341. Om het IP-adres te configureren:
- Navigeer naar Maint > Setup > Comm > Enet.
- Configureer het IP-adres, Subnetmasker en Gateway.
- Zorg ervoor dat het Modbus TCP-protocol is ingeschakeld (meestal Poort 502).
RS485
NOTE: RS485 Device Addresses
- You MUST give each device on the RS485 bus a unique address. Check the manual of the device on how to do this.
- Use lower addresses first (1, 2, ...) because the SmartgridOne Controller will find them faster!
- For each device, it is generally recommended to stick with the factory default baud rate, parity, and stop bits. The SmartgridOne Controller will scan on those first.
Om de seriële instellingen (Baudrate, Pariteit, ID) te configureren:
- Navigeer naar Maint > Setup > Comm > Ser.
- Bewerk het Adres (Unit ID), Baud rate en Pariteit om aan te sluiten bij uw gateway-instellingen.
