Solis Cloud API

Supported Devices

Device TypeCloud API
Solis API V3✅

Every PV inverter that is visible in your SolisCloud account can be added with this protocol.

Note
Note

This protocol reads the PV inverter only. For a hybrid inverter with a battery, select the SolisCloud APIV3 hybrid inverters (experimental) protocol instead: it also reads the battery of the inverter.

Prerequisites

  • A SolisCloud account in which the inverters are already installed and visible.
  • The datalogger of the inverter is online in SolisCloud. An inverter that is offline in SolisCloud is also offline for the Controller.
  • Permission to grant Eniris both data access and device control on that account. Both permissions are required: without device control the integration cannot be added at all.

Adding a Device

You can add a Solis inverter to the cloud controller by generating a new site, or adding an inverter to an existing site. When generating new sites, it is possible to add all inverters linked to your SolisCloud account at once, or to select specific inverters by their serial number. When adding an inverter to an existing site, you can only add one inverter at a time by its serial number.

Add a Solis inverter to the cloud controller by following these steps:

  1. Select 'Start import wizard' under the 'Add sites' header to generate a new site, or select 'Start device wizard' under the 'Devices' tab in an existing site to add an inverter.

  2. Select Solis -> SolisCloud APIV3 inverters (experimental).

  3. Follow the instructions to grant Eniris permissions to monitor and control your Solis systems.

    • Go to https://api-oauth2.soliscloud.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=solis273720868a840d13. The wizard also offers this link directly ("CLICKING HERE").
    • Log in with your SolisCloud credentials.
    • Grant data access and device control permissions to Eniris.
    • After granting access, you will be redirected to a page that displays your access code. Copy the access code from that page and paste it in the field in the import wizard.
Note
Note

Older controller versions (legacy): on older versions the redirect does not land on a page that shows the code. Instead you end up on a URL that looks like https://solis.eniris.be/callback-app?code=XXXXXX. In that case, copy the code from the URL itself (the part after code=) and paste it in the field in the import wizard.

Each selected site will regenerate the site if it is already present! This will reset all settings of the site and the devices in it to the default settings.

Inverters from more than one SolisCloud account

An access code is valid for the SolisCloud account you logged in with, and returns only the inverters of that account. To combine inverters from several accounts, add them one group at a time: run the wizard again for every account and paste the access code of that account.
