Where can I find what is in the release versions of the software?
- In the SmartgridOne Controller, in the tab "Settings" --> "About" --> "Changelog" you can find the complete changelogs of the controller.
- If you have access to https://toolbox.eniris.be, you can check the changelogs here too.
- You can subscribe to our newsletter via https://eniris.io/ to remain up to date about new software releases.
How can I update the software of the EMS?
- If in the tab 'Settings' --> 'Check for updates' the option 'Enable automatic updates' is on, the EMS software will update as soon as new software is available.
- You can check for software updates in the tab 'Settings' --> 'Check for updates'.
- Through the toolbox (subject to additional fees). Here you can manage specific software updates on specific controllers.
Warning
If you restrict the software to certain versions and disable 'automatic updates', you may miss out on critical bug fixes and security updates. Damages that incur due to not updating the software may not be covered. Please check the contract with your distributor.
If there is an update, do I have to recall all non-installed EMS systems to update them first?
- No, updates will be installed when the SmartgridOne Controller connects to the server during installation.
